So can you buy the laptop version with 144hz and 3ms display but instead hook it up to a monitor that has 240hz and less than 3ms response time. Will you receive on par display feedback from the monitor as you would on the higher end model laptop?

no, they just couldn't fit the num pad in all the space that's left near the keyboard area.
My ASUS Strix Scar III did come with a webcam bundled in the box. My region is in Asia though so it could be different elsewhere.

Quick question say if I buy a gaming laptop could I hook that up to let’s say a monitor and keyboard and mouse use it kind of a pc I’d be used if keyboard and mouse for gaming but I also want to use the laptop for school!

There you go, MSI raider with identical cpu is 3712 cinebench R20.. Not sure why you are defending this Linus.. that 2506 score is even bested by Asus' own G703 laptop with the 6 ore 9750h!

You do realise an 8 core 2506 result for CB R20 is really bad right?.. the thermals must be worse than the macbook... the current 8 core 16" macbook gets 3300.. so that's 30% faster.. i mean that's huge.. and the 15" 9880H 8 core macbook pro i recently returned got 3111.. so.. yeah.. this is performing badly as far as the cpu goes.
and its expensive...
It is not the king, the screen made by Sharp and it provides less contrast and produces some artificial defects compared with 144hz VA made by AOC
I mean the only bad thing I can spot is that the screen is held by two pieces of plastic wouldn't that just break under any hit/pressure?

Webcam? Come on, are you stil using Skype? It's not 2008 anymore nor this device is targeted for that kind of use or purpose despite being able to master daily usage like Browsing, Office, Video or Music Editing, people who will buy this won't need a camera or they have enough money to mount one.

The fact that it doesn’t have a webcam is DEFINITELY not a problem...and if you are going to use one, buying one separately is always better
im using a tape to cover webcam in laptop so hackers cant hack it. for me this is a diamond in gold
A webcam seems kinda useless on a gaming laptop. I only use those for office work.

Having no webcam is actually better , no privacy thing issues and let's be honest those notebooks ones are thrash , you need to buy external anyways

Eurocom has the best gaming laptops because they have desktop version gpu's in their laptop.
All other companies use the shitty laptop version of the gpu's.
Removing the webcam was a genius move. I need this machine
