Most surprising thing about these results is that the 9700k beat the 9900k in way too many tests.

back around 2000 or 2001 i built a pc with my father. we decided to go with the AMD Athlon processor (not sure which one it was) but at that time we seen a cpu outperform intel in gaming by a significant bit. We had already had x386, x486, pentium, pentium 2 and some others. It was amazing that we could buy an AMD processor for cheaper and with more power than what intel could offer "at that time". i remember reading system requirements for games in their manuals and remember one game said 1200 mhz intel pentium or 800 mhz AMD. I remember my athlon processor ran at 1.4 ghz and i played battlefield 1942 like a champ! People forget that AMD use to whoop intels ass and not only that but intel had to contract AMD to develop a 64 bit architecture for x86 since intel had problems with its develop solving this problem.

This is just more proof, for me at least, that most developers don't utilize everything amd cpus are capable of either on purpose for Intel or because of lack of knowledge or caring to.

Also this just further proves that the 9700k is the superior cpu when compared to the 9900k.

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and saying your inability to understand my reply that any child could have understood and you giving any compliments for any of the two design engines you mentioned was a result of you being legally blind and not because you're a complete idiot.

@Ajvanho Well obviously the publishers make, most, of the Developers. I didn't think I would need to specify that publishers usually don't slave away making video games, usually why the developer guys get hired....

But PC gamers are purposely made to run better on Nvidia hardware and Intel cpus. Intel and Nvidia pay quite a bit of money in order to make that happen.

While there's definitely a few engines that are rigged in favor of Intel, don't forget that AAA publishers barely allow their developers to develop the games, let alone expensive tools.

EA for example forces everyone to use the Frostbite 3 engine. And while the Frostbite series of engines are hands down the best graphically, they're absolute garbage to work with, ESPECIALLY when it's not a First Person Shooter. But the teams that are suppose to help the developers adapt Frostbite to their game always get reallocated to other projects, most importantly FIFA.

One reason for the falling out between Konami and Kojima was actually Kojima spending close to a 100 million dollars on developing the Fox Engine. Which while not THE prettiest, was still nice looking and more importantly, silky smooth regardless of hardware. I can't remember a single issue with MGS:V on the technical side of things. Konami was obviously pissed he spent the money instead of letting the shareholders pocket it. And what did Konami end up doing with such an amazing engine? Sports games and Metal Gear Survive.

Bethesda's Creation Engine is actually my favorite of em all. It was first used on Skyrim, and even then it was outdated af, not to mention insanely buggy. Since then they've barely done any updates, and all of which actually made it worse.

I have an Intel core i7 at the moment but prior to that it was AMD.
