I was born a freckled child in a land far away during a much simpler time. I did well in school until it counted. As a freshman in high school I had drecams of going to Notre Dame and becoming a lawyer. By the time I was sophomore I was taking shop class and was considering getting into construction. I ended up working in warehousing and unloading trucks. Other than stand up, that job was the most fun I ever had.
I am now a stand up comedian. I do a couple hundred shows a year. And I enjoy the travel. I’ve done four hour-long stand-up specials: “Why Do I Do This”, “Let It Go”, “You People Are All The Same” and “I’m Sorry You Feel That Way.” I host a podcast each week called The Monday Morning Podcast. And I have an animated series on Netflix called: ‘F’ Is For Family.’ Occasionally I act in movies but only when they let me. -

Ben Askren is a good dude. The Robbie Lawler fight, idc what any of you "experts" say, Lawler was out. Nobody's arm goes limp like that unless they're out.
Ben got to the UFC late and it takes months to get a fight. He was going for a title shot. He needed a higher rated fighter. He won, he gets his next shot. That's the only reason he didn't want a rematch. Guaranteed he'd take that rematch now and we want that rematch.
Jorge masvidal knocked him into another dimension and he deserves the title shot for his success and for exposing Ben Askren's lack of stand up skills.
Ben Askren isn't a douche. He took his humble pie and swallowed it whole and congratulated masvidal for a great performance.
Ben said himself he doesn't deserve a title shot yet and is willing to work his way back up the ranks to get it.
His shit talking is meant to be comedic, not meant to actually upset anybody, and it sells fights. Ben is a good dude who needs to work on his stand up game and not be so one dimensional.

He did not hit the opponent on the side of the head. He occluded the carotid artery on the right side of the neck. It was a perfect strike that could not have been any better. Not to mention the amount of pressure the knee exerted on the collar bone thereafter. The opponent did not stand a chance against that kind of brutality.
